Hi there,
Was wondering if anyone could give any advice on how to replicate the "orange" color on my Zenith chairside. The finish is pretty shot and unfortunately what is left of it will need to be stripped and re-done.
I was thinking filler, amber shellac, then topcoats of lacquer as needed, then final rubout but this didn't seem right.
Is there a toner or stain that comes close to the original finish color that I'm just not thinking of? I've looked at Mohawk samples and nothing seems to come too close. Has anyone had any expirience with recreating the original color?
Any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
